Hardraw Scar 2019

On Sunday 8th September 2019 Darwen Brass headed for Hawes to take part for the first time in the Hardraw Scar Contest run by the Yorkshire and Humberside Brass Band Association. The programme was a 20 minute own choice, planned by MD Mike Cotter which had to include a march, a hymn, a solo and a modern piece.

Celebrations in the Green Dragon followed winning 4 trophies!

The contest takes place in the natural amphitheatre in the Yorkshire Dales within the sound of Hardraw Force
