We are a very enthusiastic and friendly Brass Band based in Darwen, Lancashire.

​

At present we have third section status and are currently making great progress under the baton and guidance of our Musical Director Matt Balson.

​

We rehearse on: Mondays and Thursdays 20:00 – 22:00hrs in our bandroom situated in Lower Chapel, Goose House Lane, Darwen BB3 0EE which is just a few minutes from junction 4 of the M65.

​

We are a diverse group of musicians with mixed abilities and thoroughly enjoy the times we spend together.

​

We delight in making and performing a varied selection of music from the more modern era through to Pop & Rock, Jazz & Swing all the way through to Classical and more traditional Brass Band pieces.

​

We represent the Town of Darwen at various competitions around the country and regularly entertain in the local area and beyond.

​

We have performed locally at the Darwen Tower Jubilee Celebrations, Darwen’s St Georges day parades, Darwen Rotary Family Fun Days along with various local Church/School celebrations with Carols at Christmas, Summer Fetes and parades along with Harvest Festivals to name a few.

We are available for Fetes, Parades, Galas, Concerts, Weddings, Corporate events etc.
